In early May 2021, Capri Island has been declared a “Covid free island” by the Italian Government , with over 90% of residents and all tourism sector employees having received the first dose of the vaccine or being fully vaccinated.
Almost 60% of Italian population (age 12+) has been vaccinated with one dose and 30% got completed are fully vaccinated.
PROTOCOLS AND RESTRICTIONS IN THE REGION (WHITE ZONE)
Capri is part of the Campania Region which (as almost all regions in Italy with the exception Valle d’Aosta) has been classified by Italian Government as “White Zone” from June 18th
- Throughout Italy, it is mandatory to wear a mask in public places, indoors and outdoors.
- Bars, pubs, restaurants,and shopsare open. They must display a sign indicating the maximum number of people allowed inside simultaneously.
- Consumption at table is always allowed. There is no limit to the number of people who may sit at the same outdoor table. Up to a maximum of 6 non-cohabiting people may sit together indoors. No limit if same family household.
- It is mandatory to maintain the safe distance of at least one meter from non-cohabiting people.
