Sebastiano Mauri

Sebastiano Mauri, born in Milan in 1972, lives and works between  Milan, New York and Buenos Aires. He graduated in Film & TV from New York University  and his short films have won the Warner Brothers Award and the Martin Scorsese Post-Production Award. He has studied at the Byam Shaw School of Art in London and at the Art Students League of New York. A visual artist, his works have been shown at MART (Museum of Contemporary Art of Trento and Rovereto), MNAC (National Museum of Contemporary Art in Bucharest), CACT (Center for Contemporary Art in Ticino, Bellinzona), CCEBA (Centro Cultural de España de Buenos Aires), VIA FARINI (Milan), KSA: K (Centre for Contemporary Art, Chisnau), FAC (Fundacion de Arte Contemporanea, Montevideo), CCR (Centro Cultural Recoleta, Buenos Aires) at “Palazzo delle Papesse” (Siena), Centro Cultural Borges (Buenos Aires), X Bienal de la Habana, Spazio Oberdan (Milan), Santral Museum (Istanbul), Centre Pompidou (Paris).  He recently published with Rizzoli the novel "Enjoy the problem".
